Molise

Located in central-southern Italy, the Molise lies between the Apennine ridge and the Adriatic Sea. Nature, history, art, ancient traditions and gastronomy are the treasures of this still little known land. When visiting Molise, in fact, you experience a sensation of "discovery", starting from its territory, mainly mountainous and hilly, crossed by the characteristic "tratturi", the historical transhumance paths that combine the Abruzzian pastures with those of Puglia.
The National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise reveals unexpected magnificent landscapes, while the numerous nature reserves protect the plant and animal species typical of this area.
The coast has sandy beaches, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and a clear and clean sea.
The ancient history and culture of the region can be discovered by visiting the archaeological sites, the abbeys, the villages and the numerous castles in the area.
The survival of customs and traditions, of craft activities and ancient crafts that have disappeared elsewhere is a unique feature of the region, which makes Molise a "small ancient world".
